I just found out about this ultra-cool software from a faculty member here at Boise State. It’s called Ajax13 (here’s their blog link). Take a look at this and try it out on your PC. It’s kind of like Google docs or zoho, but even more powerful, in that it installs on your computer and can copy/synchronize all of your computer files. So, if you are on another computer and log on to your Ajax13 account, you can access those same files and then synchronize them again if you have any changes. One of my colleagues was wondering how safe this was . . . after all, you ARE storing your files on another server (I guess!).
For more information, read a blog posting from one of the founders, Michael Robertson. This provides a lot of information about this virtualization software. And, of course, let me know what you think and how you are using it!
